Fuck you Comcast! Fuck your crappy service!!!
My god , I hate comcast right now… or should I say Xfinity or whatever the fuck you guys are called now. Comcast has always been the corporate giant but at least the customer service was somewhat decent and tolerable. But now they have done it. They have become the new AT&T, evil, rude and just cold blooded lying thieves.
I purchased a new modem so I didnt have to rent the one from Comcast that I have been using for the past 5 yrs. You know Comcast, stop forcing rentals on items that after so many years the customer should own.
But to get this new modem working I had to call tech support and give some simple information about the new Motorola modem, stuff like MAC address etc. No prob, simple. The guy couldnt get the modem to work, said I should wait overnight so the system could enable the modem to connect to the service. I did that, and no service. Called back the next day and the new tech guy said the reason why I couldnt get the modem working was because I had to turn the old one in first , simple system bug and its important that I do that first. So i did that. Of course after 3 hours of being on hold until the guy could figure this out.
So we turned in the old one to the comcast office which was clear across the other side of town. Called again to see if they could enable the modem. Nope. The guy said he couldnt do because I had a recent discount put on my account for my Blast service, of 25 down 4 up. OOOOOK I said, just do what you have to do to get my modem working. Guy puts me on hold again for 20 min. But this time the modem works! YEY!!! So I thought.
I asked the guy to transfer me to the sales dept so I can talk about upgrading, hell I was being generous. So he did. Another 30 min on hold.
Sales guy answers, again some dude in Malaysia who couldnt speak simple english, tells me SURE we can upgrade you. To 22 down and 3 up. WHAT???? I already get that speed + MORE with my blast service. He tells me, well you are only guarenteed 16 down. Ok, how much to upgrade to ULTRA Mr Steve whatever, uhhhh only 7 bucks?? WOW thats great! Nope.
You see the guy said I dont qualify for the true Ultra speed of 30 down and 7 up because I dont get tv service. OK, but I get powerboost now with my current service, couldnt you guys just boost me up a tier and call it a day and charge me another 7 bucks, NO he said… cant do it. He told me I shouldnt even be getting the powerboost feature on my current service anyways. Ugh!!!
Fuck you lying piece of crap I thought to myself, and asked to talk to another sales rep. After hemming and hawing the guy finally transfered me to another guy, who I explained my situation to and without a warning…. beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. He hung up on me. FUCKTARD!!!
I called again and got to another salesrep named LO, who finally explained to me what the fuck is going on. I give LO respect, he was honest and didnt bullshit me. Probably a guy just trying to make a living and wasnt trying to make a quick buck or piss off a customer.He explained to me the Ultra speed was actually slower than what I was currently getting and I shouldnt even waste my time getting an upgrade because it would be slower.

Comcast you fuckers, Verizon is besting your service and is on your ass in customer service. Better watch out your gonna lose more customers by treating them like you are. 5 fucking years and I get treated this way.
